Widowhood, divorce, and long lives mean new relationships at 60, 70, and beyond. The need for connection is healthy and human — it’s the support around it that disappeared.
Many older adults would rather take a risk than let their children — or their doctor — know they’re intimate at all. When the safe options feel unspeakable, unsafe ones fill the gap.
Sex education ended decades ago, and routine checkups rarely raise the topic. So no one screens, no one counsels, and infections surface by accident — if at all.

Conversation is where care begins — but some of the answer is physical. We’re developing a small line of intimate wellness devices made specifically for older bodies. Nearly everything sold today was designed for someone forty years younger. We think that’s a design failure, not a fact of life.

A gentle warming and massage device designed around post-menopausal comfort — easy-hold shape, simple controls, soft materials. Onboard sensors let it adapt to you: it begins conservatively, learns what feels comfortable, and never rushes. If something consistently feels wrong, the companion will suggest — plainly and privately — that it’s worth mentioning to your clinician.
Strength you can measure.
A pelvic floor trainer built for older bodies, guided entirely by voice. Gentle biofeedback turns invisible muscles into visible progress — steadiness, control, and confidence, one short session at a time. The device an adult daughter can give her mother, and both can talk about at dinner.

An adaptive stimulation device for men, with response sensing built in. It learns what works for your body rather than assuming, and it keeps a private, long-term picture of change over time — because changes in this part of life are often the body’s earliest quiet signals, and noticing them early is worth a conversation with your doctor.

06 · Why we’re building this
After my cofounder’s grandmother passed away, his grandfather learned — by accident, at a routine checkup — that he was HIV-positive. To this day, the family doesn’t fully know what happened, because it was never something anyone could ask.
We’re not building this because the market is large (it is). We’re building it because that silence reaches millions of families — and silence is a design problem. It can be fixed.
